Starting her ceramic journey back in 2020, and after 15 years of working with fabric, this material is a new field to explore. It’s a new point of view on how to work with volume, colors & texture.
By making some objects & materials researches, Mathilde Baillarger is willing to see the similarity and how two crafts like textile and ceramic can work together, get intertwine. To develop this research, she is using different ceramic techniques like wheel throwing, handbuilding & slipcasting.
